Making Observations In the BELL
The BELL is used throughout the year to make observations and do simple experiments. Student observations of animals help students with their invertebrate or vertebrate reports. From the shedding of an exoskeleton to the hatching of a cockroach egg, students are excited to make first hand observations. The life cycle of a plant can be seen without interruption. Did you know that salt water fish swim differently than freshwater fish? Did you know that when a cockroach sheds its exoskeleton it is white and at first thought to be albino? These are some of the observations students have made!
